Micro weddings & why we love
photographing them
Venue: Hidden Grace
Planning a big wedding can be extremely time consuming and expensive. It is also not allowed at the moment due to the global pandemic. Therefore, more and more couples are turning to elopements and a new trendy gathering. The gathering is a beautiful and personal jamboree called a micro-wedding. It is just like a wedding, but with fewer people. Do not let the name and size of the wedding mislead you into thinking it is less special.
A micro wedding has all of the traditions a real wedding has. Only your closest friends and family will attend, now to us, that sounds PERFECT. Every moment is much more intimate and exclusive as the celebration is more personal. Although planning a micro wedding is less stress and choices, they still require planning, budgeting and decisions. There always has to be food, music and a photographer. It is your wedding day after all, and you still need to enjoy every special moment, and have them captured!
The bride and groom stress less on the day, and it shows on the photos. You have more time on your wedding day to spend with your better half and with actual close friends and family, that sound pretty ideal to us.
When planning your wedding, please do not forget to book your photographer. Your wedding photos are significant as they will be your memories; they will tell the story to those who could not attend the special day. A wedding photographer is a vital part of your special day.
Smaller weddings allow us photographers to capture more intimate moments as there are fewer guests to photograph. The photos will often be more artistic, unique and fun as the photographer will have more time to play with the camera! One of our biggest ideals is to build a strong relationship with our bride and groom before the wedding. At a micro wedding, we have the perfect opportunity to benefit from the strong foundation we have built, ensuring even more astounding and unforgettable wedding photos!
